AIRTranslate: Bring Google language translation on your desktop

November 2nd, 2009 | Comments | Posted in How to, Software, Windows | 30 views |

Google’s Translation is quite amazing. Although not a 100% foolproof. It’s still the service I like to use when I want to translate text/website page from one language to another. I use the Google’s web service to translate text. However, I know there can be un-imaginable number of ways to achieve the same. We can also use Google translation service using some desktop utilities.

AIRTranslate is an AIR desktop application for Google Translate service. It’s pretty easy to install. Just make sure you have Adobe AIR installed on your machine. Because it’s adobe air based, it’s cross platform. One of the best features is it auto-detects the language and translate it to your desired language.
