Most users face problems of slow speed while using the drive be it in copying or reading from the disk. Here is how you can speed up the working of your USB drive.

1. Go to control panel and click on ‘Systems’ option.

2. Further click on ‘Device manager’ option.

3. Under Device manager expand the ‘Disk Drive’ section.

4. Select your drive and right click to open properties.

5. Under ‘policies’ tab, select ‘Optimize for performance’. Click Ok.

Thats it , now the drive is enabled for cache writing, thus improving the speed and perfromance of the drive.
