whatText_2Many a times I come across a cool font , depicted in an image or a logo or some other text file. the problem comes that there’s no way to find out which font has been used in that image. Recently I came across a useful utility “WhatTheFont” on the internet which does exactly what I want . That is you can upload a file or specify a URL and the site would list all the fonts that sort of match the font in the uploaded image or the URL.

After you have uploaded the image, the site parses the image and you will be shown a page where you will be required to look at each “parsed” image and make sure the text box with some pre-filled value agrees with the character highlighted in the image. This step helps in providing you with better results.
