songbirdSometimes life is not easy. For example you installed Ubuntu on your machine and can’t wait to get your hands on the much hyped (rightly so) “SongBird“, only to find that GetDeb.net website is down. GetDeb.net is one stop shop for all the linux softwares in deb format.

.Deb format is like .Exe format in Windows. Just double click the downloaded .deb file and install the software without doing rocket science at terminal. I wanted to install songbird on my machine but unfortunately GetDeb.net was down and hence I had to look for other locations to download the deb file of SongBird.

Luckily I found a few. Following are the alternative locations to download SongBird deb package.

32 Bit (Tested on Ubuntu 8.10 or Intrepid Ibex)

Songbird 1.0.0 deb Installer (MediaFire.com)
Songbird 1.0.0 deb Installer (FileFactory.com)
Songbird 1.0.0 deb Installer

64 Bit Deb Installer of Songbird
Songbird 1.0.0 deb Installer (MediaFire.com)
Songbird 1.0.0 deb Installer (FileFactory.com)

I hope this helps you get your favorite SongBird running on Ubuntu.
