Make your Ubuntu eye candy with Shikhi GTK theme
One of the great things that happened to Ubuntu is the graphic enhancements. And the community support has taken it to the next level. We’ll see how to pimp up your not so good looking Ubuntu with GTK theme Shikhi. First of all you’ll have to download the Shikhi GTK theme. You can get it from here. I’d suggest downloading the package which says Ubuntu install.
Just extract the content on your desktop and double click install file. It’ll prompt you for providing admin password followed by which should be your default color.

I chose wine (red). Depending on you connection speed packages will be downloaded for installation.
That should be it. Find a maatching wallpaper and you are have a wonderful look and feel to your Ubuntu. The final result will look like this.

In order to see the Ubuntu Boot Menu change you’ll have to restart your machine. Additionally you can also install matching fonts. I took the tip from Tombuntu.
