Listening to audio tracks from different sources, it happens many times that the volume of the mp3 songs is not the same. Some songs are really loud and some are quiet with the same settings of your mp3 player. Now this issue can be resolved with the help of the utility software mp3 gain.

Mp3 Gain is a useful utility which can adjust the loudness of mp3 files. It analyzes the mp3 files and determines how they will sound to human ear. It then adjusts the loudness of the songs to the same level. It does not affect the quality of recording. It can easily normalize the mp3 files in batches.

1. Click on Add Files or Add folder to add files to be normalized. You can also drag and drop the files to the window.

2. Decide the target volume level. The default is 89db but you can alter the level.

3. Click on Album Analysis to analyze the volume of each file. It is just a step for you to check differences in track volume levels. This is not a necessary step.

4. Click on Album Gain button to normalize the files.

5. Now the files are at the same level. You can listen to the mp3 files without worrying about adjusting the volume again and again.

Note: You can go back and change the decibel level if you feel the files are too quiet or too loud. To undo the changes and revert back to the original decibel levels of the files.: Click on Modify Gain and then Undo Gain Changes.
