Official Windows 7 public beta ISO to release on 9th January 2009

So you have been one of those who has been waiting to get your hands on Microsoft‘s new operating system named Windows 7. Well, your wait is almost over as there will be a public beta release of Windows 7 as soon as tomorrow i.e. 9th January 2009. This was announced yesterday at CES 2009 by none other than Mr. Steve Balmer.

Also, the MSDN subscribers already have an access to the beta release of Windows 7 along with genuine key. So if you have an MSDN subscription, what are you waiting for. Go get your download today and start playing with the new baby. However, you don’t wanna play with this baby on your production machine. This is still in beta and not worth the risk. So if you get a hand on this one, make sure you are trying it out on a machine where the chances of damage is pretty less.

Good news however is that there’s been a very positive review in the websphere about Windows 7. Very unlikely of a Windows release! So, it’s sure worth a shot. If you cannot wait another day and don’t have an MSDN account please feel free to search for the leaked release on torrents or rapidshare.
