Pretweeting is a virtual stock market where you trade words on twitter. Here you buy and sell words which you think might gain you profit (virtual).So as the words become popular they gain value , and as they become less popular they loose their value.So predict what’s going to be hot and buy those words and make a profit as people start talking about it.One thing to be clarified is that this game is totally virtual and no actual money is transacted.
When you sign in to Pretweeting using your Twitter account, you are given $5,000 virtual dollars. You can then research upon the words and spend your virtual money to buy up shares for the words and then follow the fate of your shares.Also sell your shares at the right moments to gain profit.
A major drawback of this game is that , by allowing Pretweeting access to your twitter account , you are allowing Pretweeting permission to post tweets on your behalf.This is one of the feature that will discourage many users away from it.Also you have the option to let your followers know that you have started using Pretweeting by allowing Pretweeting to tweet for you.The auto spamming option in Pretweeting is the massive negative point in it and the future success of it will depend on the fact whether future updates contain this feature or not.
