In one of the previous post we talked about desirable apps for iPad. With the iPad selling at tremendous rate – around 2 million in 2 months, the useful apps would be in high demand. One of the awaited app was Pulse, which has been released recently.

This digital app called Pulse is a RSS based news aggregator. One can view headlines from multiple sources as well browsing through stories from a particular source. It incorporates colorful panning story bars and fills them with content from your favorite websites.

One can view in a potrait mode as well as landscape mode. Potrait mode can allow one to read stories from a particular source whereas landscape mode allows you to browse through stories from all the sources.

Also the app allows two kinds of view – text view as well as web view. Tapping on a particular story takes you to a text view but you can shift easily to web view.

The search feature is also quite good. A simple search would help you find numerous sources to which you can subscribe to.
