If you put some wrong information in your mail and sent it or you sent a mail to wrong address, what would you do ? Outlook 2010 brings a feature to recall a sent mail so that you may recover from any mailing mistakes. It is the first desktop mailing tool which provides such option.

To recall a sent mail :

1. Go to sent items. Open the message that you wish to resend. Go to file -> info -> Message Resend and Recall

2. Click on drop down box located with Resend and Recall option  and choos Recall this message option.

3. You can either Delete unread copies of the message or Delete unread copies and replace with a new message.

Recall option actually either deletes the mail from recipient’s inbox or replace that mail with a new mail. The former option is applicable when you have sent the mail to wrong address and the later when some incomplete mail is sent or the content is not correct.

Note: If the recipient has read the mail, this option won’t work. Also note that this option will work in corporate environment only, if you send an email to GMail, Hotmail, Yahoo, etc address then this option will not work.
