Monitor is the component of your Laptop/PC monitor, that eats away a good amount of power. You must have felt the need like I do when I only want to turn off the monitor and not use the sleep or hibernate feature. On laptops you’ll have to put the machine on standby to turn off the monitor.
Dark is an open source .net framework utility that sits in your system tray and turns of your monitor on double clicking the icon.
