I also realize that I am not into full time professional blogging and hence it makes little sense to invest into understanding and using the service to it&#8217;s fullest potential. Nonetheless I wanted to explore some features and thought it&#8217;d be worthwhile to discuss one of them here.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">1. Reporting is an important aspect of management and hence we&#8217;ll see how to set up email alerts in Google Analytics. If you&#8217;ll notice on the sidebar of Google analytics interface there&#8217;s something that reads <strong>Intelligence</strong>.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><a href="http://techreviews.in/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/google-analytics-intelligence1.png"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-1684" title="google analytics intelligence1" src="http://techreviews.in/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/google-analytics-intelligence1.png" alt="google analytics intelligence1" width="267" height="380" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">2. Once you click it you&#8217;ll notice on the right middle of the page something that reads &#8220;<strong>Create a Custom Alert</strong>&#8220;.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><a href="http://techreviews.in/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/google-analytics-intelligence2.png"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-1685" title="google analytics intelligence2" src="http://techreviews.in/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/google-analytics-intelligence2.png" alt="google analytics intelligence2" width="418" height="284" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">3. Make sure when you are creating an you check the box that reads &#8220;<strong>Email me when this alert is triggered</strong>&#8220;. Rest of it is dependent on what type of alert you want to receive in your email.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><a href="http://techreviews.in/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/google-analytics-intelligence3.png"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-1686" title="google analytics intelligence3" src="http://techreviews.in/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/google-analytics-intelligence3.png" alt="google analytics intelligence3" width="556" height="475" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In my case I have set an alert when the visits on my site dips below 700.</p>
